Auric selenate, Au2(SeO4)3
At 230° to 300° C. gold dissolves in concentrated selenic acid, with formation of auric selenate, Au2(SeO4)3, and selenious acid. The salt forms yellow crystals, insoluble in water, but soluble in concentrated acids.
