Gold Ionization Energy

The Gold Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Gold.
Au -> Au+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Gold is:
AuN+ -> Au(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Au -> Au1+ = 890.1 kJ/mol = 212.94 Kcal/mol
\nAu1+ -> Au2+ = 1980 kJ/mol = 473.68 Kcal/mol
\nAu2+ -> Au3+ = 2900 kJ/mol = 693.78 Kcal/mol
\nAu3+ -> Au4+ = 4200 kJ/mol = 1004.78 Kcal/mol
\nAu4+ -> Au5+ = 5600 kJ/mol = 1339.71 Kcal/mol
\nAu5+ -> Au6+ = 7000 kJ/mol = 1674.64 Kcal/mol
\nAu6+ -> Au7+ = 9300 kJ/mol = 2224.88 Kcal/mol
\nAu7+ -> Au8+ = 11000 kJ/mol = 2631.58 Kcal/mol
\nAu8+ -> Au9+ = 12800 kJ/mol = 3062.20 Kcal/mol
\nAu9+ -> Au10+ = 14800 kJ/mol = 3540.67 Kcal/mol
